In-line welding machine with automatic cycle, with one fixed and one movable welding head, which can be positioned at a maximum useful distance of 3,440 mm. The fixed head is set up for welding 90° corners. The movable head is available in two different versions: for 90° corners in the SM2 LL version; for variable corners from 30° to 180° in the SM2 LV version. Both models are configured to perform welding in traditional mode or in Seamless mode. In traditional mode, the weld bead generated is precisely controlled in order to guarantee optimal aesthetic quality after the cleaning phase. The thickness of the weld bead is managed by an adjustment system that allows the bead size to be changed quickly, setting it to a value of 0.2 mm (necessary for Seamless welding) or 2 mm. They are compatible with patented counterblocks which, by applying a simple profile preparation phase, make it possible to obtain welds without a bead on the surfaces of the window or door frame. PROFAST technology has been designed to optimise Seamless welding by integrating into the welding units the knives that control the quality of the finish. This solution makes it possible to use simpler counterblocks, reducing costs and final inspection times. Bead-free welding technology also significantly reduces and simplifies the subsequent processing cycle, with important benefits for productivity and for the quality of the result. SM2 features vertical clamps sliding on linear guides and support arms that are height-adjustable; it can be equipped with counterblocks (optional) and can process all types of standard, acrylic and coated profiles; a quick-change system makes it possible to share the counterblocks with the SM 4H 4-head welding machine. All the cycle variables (times, speeds, etc.) are programmable and can be set on the machine automatically through a functional and ergonomic operator interface.
